Spring is sneaking in…
…and as it does, I am working my way through creating my next alphabet collection! Joining the animals and the inspirational women is The Wildflower Alphabet Series. I am finding a native Michigan wildflower for each letter fo the alphabet - a fascinating feat. You also may have seen some painting progress videos on my Instagram; this project has been so fun so far, and we will be offering a series of products with these new designs once the new collection launches. Once I complete the originals, I will send out an email to keep you all in the know, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
Earlier this month, I was a joyful participant in a creative inspiration retreat for local small business women, run by writer and photographer Mae Stier. It was held partially at Field Trip, a lovely new mercantile space on M22 in Empire. Along with Mae, myself and about ten other women spent the day talking about the ins and outs, the ups and downs, the knowns and unknowns of being small business owners. We set goals, shared ideas, hiked the Empire Bluff trail, and ended the day with a daring polar bear plunge in Lake Michigan!
I am also excited to share that The Warren will be reopening at the end of May! I have been dreaming about our beautiful space all winter, and I can’t wait to get back to curating that space and creating new work to share with you all there!
