This painting is of one of my favorite views in the world… standing on the shore of North Beach in Leland, Michigan, looking out across Lake Michigan with the Manitou Islands in the distance. I tried to capture the peace that I feel when I’m at the lake, listening to the waves, watching the sun set at 10pm in the summer time.
